I’m just a twenty something , wife and mum to 1-year-old Mayah, who is crowned in the most AMAZING Afro. From nearly having her in Nandoos, and feeling totally overwhelmed at the thought of being a mum, who knew that having Mayah would become my strongest source of inspiration. I’ve always been totally beauty obsessed but becoming a mum to baby girl is the closest I’ve ever felt to a different sort of beauty.
I want Mayah to own her beauty in a way that she never ever tries to fit a mould. So I have to love myself, so she does too, laugh at myself, so she learns to too and teach her that;
'Real girls aren’t perfect and perfect girls aren’t Real.'
