Im Ola, a beauty obsessed 20 something, living in London and married with a 10 month old little girl called Mayah. I tried to start a blog during my maternity leave because like most mums I felt like I was expected to do something earth shattering with my 9 months off. As a first time mum I soon realised that maternity leave is a far cry away from a holiday. With poo explosions and sleepless nights to keep me busy my beauty obsession was put on the back burner. Anyhoo, enough of how I totally loved wearing baby sick as my new fragrance for the last 9 months (NOT).

Having a baby really gave me a deeper appreciation for the so called quest for beauty and putting make up on became my ritual of self care, self love and personal expression. Its's safe to say after going back to work 6 weeks ago, I've rekindled my love for beauty writing and ready to fully re-immerse myself in the beauty world and start sharing it with all of you.

What you'll get from my blog is totally unbiased views, reviews to give you a true beauty fix. If I've had a crap experience with a product, I want to know how you've made it work for you because working in the beauty industry, I know not everything works for everyone. Beauty is completely individual, which is what is super exciting about all the pretty stuff out there that we can buy for different skin types and skin tones.
