The EPIC Beauty Game changer we all need to know about.

I want to say I don’t often get this excited over makeup, but I’d totally be lying. So take that excitement and multiply it 82 times for every item in the NEW 'The Estée Edit' line.

Fronted by Guest Editors, Kendall Jenner and Irene Kim (beauty influencer from Korea),

this line, which has just hit the shelves exclusively in Selfridges, is a salute to Estee Lauder herself. As a true game changer who built a beauty empire based on the belief that ‘Beauty is an Attitude’, The Estée Edit shows how the heritage of a brand can still excite, connect and educate a new generation who can sometimes stick the middle finger up at tradition. After all to be a game changer you have to embrace change.
In true Estée fashion the line is split into 3 Beauty attitudes.
1. The EDGIest - Super high pigment, strong colour and amazing Longwear claim.
2. The BARest - Feel good formula’s with Sheer washes of colour
3. Guest Editor Picks - How to get that Glow
Like a lot of people I’m a huge sucker for buying makeup or perfume because of amazing bottle/packaging that will look good on my dressing table. I’m a huge fan of the quirky Benefit packaging as much as I love the Chic Charlotte Tilbury packaging, but wait until you see ‘The Estée Edit’. Rumoured to be a flip of the traditional Navy and Blue Estée colours, the packaging is lacquered in sliver and finished with a spray paint effect in cobalt blue.
Alright I’ll get to it. Here’s a quick look at how I got on with a few of the bits in the collection.
12 Lipsticks shades (£17) with amazing names that rival OPI, from ‘Killing it’ to ‘About Last night’. I’ve bought 2 which are called Sunday Vibe(nude) and Just Sayin(summer pink) and as someone who loves matte lipsticks I’d give these the thumbs up for being more of a comfortable matte but not a true matte as it has a teeny bit of sheen to it.
2 Lip Transformation shades. Think of these two as welcoming your alter ego. You have the Black Transformer (Turned down), which will give you a darker shade of any of the 12 shades you have on, perfect for going from a day to night look. Yes, the Yellow Transformer (turned up) does the opposite and brightens the lip colour.
Flash Photo Powder (£24). Tell me who doesn’t want to look better in photos. It gets rid the shine and makes your skin look a bit brighter
The Edgiest Up & Out Double Mascara (£17). We all know you can never have too many mascaras. As someone who wears lashes nearly everyday and prefers the false lash look, apart from Bobbi Brown’s Eye Opening Mascara, I haven’t found another mascara that can convince me to go lash free. When I tried it, it was definitely not clumpy, was jet black and is said to be sweat proof (gym mascara), but I found that it didn’t give my lashes enough of a lift.
The Edgiest Kohl Shadowstick (£17).
My favorite feature about myself is my eyes and these eyeliners definitely had me at hello. I picked up 2 in ‘Royal Scandal’ (dusky blue) and ‘Grounded’ (chestnut brown). What’s great about these is that you can use it in your waterline or use your fingers or brush to blend into your lid for a smoky eye.
There’s so much to the collection that my quick dash to Selfridge’s after work simply wasn't enough.

So don’t keep this to yourself, Wear it, Share it, and Own it.
