Choosing what make up make the final cut for your holiday can be super hard, especially when you're probably going to a destination where the climate is warmer than where you live, so you'll be needing your make up to do different things for you. So, If you're lucky enough to be jetting off to somewhere nice this summer or planning to get away for some winter sun, here's;
9 Beauty Buys you NEED to take with you on holiday this Summer.

(FULL PICTURE GALLERY AT THE END OF THIS POST)
1. Bobbi Brown (Limited Edition) BOBBI TO GO - Hydrating face cream (£12.50)
My friend Hannah who works at Bobbi Brown used this on me when she did my make up and it literally melted into my face and smelt divine. It's super lightweight, great for giving your skin the moisture it needs and also works well for layering under makeup. TIP: This works amazing for soothing your skin after you’ve been out in the sun.
2. MAC Sized To Go Prep + Prime FIX + (£10)
Don't you just love how cute travel size products are. This super cute spray is the ultimate make up refresher and it gives your skin's a natural glow and definitely my holiday fav for setting my makeup. It's so tempting to want to drench your face in it because it's so refreshing but 1-2 sprays is enough if you want to look matt but 3-4 if your going for a more dewy finish.
3. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (£5.99)
This is my new Holy Grail concealer, and the price make it all the more better. I love the fact that its not oil based so it gives you the coverage you need without looking cakey and doesn't sit in my under eye creases but does a really good job in brightening my under eye.
4. Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Foundation (£27)
As an ex M.A.C Studio Fix fluid addict, I was so happy to find this foundation, which is not as heavy, and perfect for the summer weather. I use the Urban Decay Blur Brush with mine and apply it with a buffing motion and you get the most amazing air brushed finish.
5. Benefit Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil (£18.50)
Ok, can we just take a minute to thank the gods for this super easy eyebrow pencil. Forget having to sharpen your pencil or worrying you’ll get too much transfer with gel, this pencil is definitely goof proof. On one end you have this super easy brow filler and on the other end you have a spoolie brush to blend out any harsh lines and give you a natural looking brow.
6. Bare Minerals Lash Domination Ink Liner (£17)
Anyone who knows me will know that my eye look is never complete without bit of liner, ok I’m lying, I totally like my liner to be super black and have a lot of drama. This can do both thin and thick lines and soooooo black it gives the illusion of a fuller looking lash line and because it’s water resistant the hot weather is no problem.
7. Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes (£25)
I’m going to be honest and tell you that I bought this mascara simply because of the packaging and the Charlotte Tilbury hype. I was quite surprised that it lived up to the hype, but to be honest I'd expect no less from the hailed goddess that is Charlotte Tilbury. You’ll love that it has amazing staying power for your travels but you literally have to make this the last step when you’re doing your make up because if it prints on your face it’s a bugger to get off.
8. Rimmel London Sculpting Palette by Kate #002 (£6.99)
I love any makeup product that saves me space by doubling up to do more than one thing and this case doing 3 things. This is a clever combo of 3 powder shades – a highlighter, contouring powder and blush powder. It's actually like a mini face lift in a palette because it adds definition and structure to your face, but in a natural way. As with any powder products I always say always start of light handed and then you can build on the colour. For black skin I think the contour shade could be warmer in the darkest palette because if you don’t get enough product on the brush on application it can look a bit ashy.
9. 3ina -The Matte Lipstick (£7.95)
This lipstick literally looks and feels good enough eat. I love the simplicity of this new brand, so you can literally walk into their store in Covent Garden and ask for ‘The Matte Lipstick’ (Paraben-free) and you’ll have a delicious selection of 15 shades to choose from. When you apply it straight from the bullet it feels supper creamy but you still get the matt finish. TIP: To make you holiday lip colour last longer, get a matching lip liner and put it all over your lip before putting the lipstick on. This gives your lipstick something to stick to so it doesn’t just slide off.
What sort of places are you all off to this year and what are your summer holiday 2016 must have beauty buys?
